The Mausoleo di Augusto (English: Mausoleum of Augustus or the Augustus Mausoleum) is a landmark in the northern section of the Centro District in Rome.[1]

The Mausoleum is a circular structure with large walls and houses a smaller, round, roofed structure with a tree growing out of it. Ezio Auditore da Firenze visited the Mausoleum several times in his travels, such as his meeting with Niccolò Machiavelli and to assist a courtesan.[1]
