Mauritius is an island in the Indian Ocean and is the major island that constitutes the Republic of Mauritius. Between 1710 and 1810, it was known as Isle de France.
History
During the Seven Years' War, Isle de France was one most important trading port of the Indian Ocean. The Templar Shay Cormac used his fleet to expand the influence of the British Empire on the island.
