Sir Matthew Fetherstonhaugh, 1st Baronet (c. 1714 – 1774) was a an English politician who served as a member of the Parliament of Great Britain.
In 1755, Matthew built a mansion in the streets of Whitehall in London. In 1787, thirteen years after his death in 1774, his wife Sarah Lethieullier sold the house to Prince Frederick, Duke of York and Albany.[1]
