Matt Ryan is a Welsh actor who portrays Edward Kenway in Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. A member of the Royal Shakespeare Company, he was best known for playing Mick Rawson in the 2011 series of Criminal Minds and its spin-off Suspect Behavior.

Ryan has also partaken in minor roles such as the film Layer Cake and TV series The Tudors, Torchwood and Vikings, before going on to be cast in the DC Comics television series Constantine, as its titular character.
