'Masyaf (Arabic مصياف) is a city in Syria, notable for its large medieval castle. This castle is the headquaters for the Assassins Guild, and home of Altaïr and Al Mualim. Masyaf has mountains, that can been seen from the Assassin's headquarters. Masyaf is not the biggest place to be on the Assassins Creed video game, it is actually the smallest place to be. It is very quiet compared to the other cities like Acre, Damascus & Jerusalem and not as much population.
