Martin Church (died 1868) was a British Templar, who lived in London in the nineteenth century. He had been convicted for the murder of his brother, but somehow managed to escape imprisonment a few weeks before he was to be hanged, after which he found refuge at Lambeth Palace.
That was where the Assassins Jacob and Evie Frye found him, following up on the information given to them by Henry Green, and gave him a death sentence he couldn't escape from. Ironically, most of the Blighters guarding him were heard conversing about how he was a bad image for the Templar cause and discussing methods of removing him.[1]
