Marie Dorian was the Austrian wife of the French Assassin Charles Dorian, and the mother of Arno Dorian. Marie left her family when Arno was still a child, having found out about Charles' ties to the Assassins.
In 1789, while under the influence of psychotropics and begining an internal journey in order to join the Assassins, Marie's son had vision of his parents during his birth.
