Marcus Vipsanius Agrippa (64/62 BCE – 12 BCE) was a Roman consul, statesman, general and architect.
He was responsible for the creation of many baths, porticoes and gardens, as well as the original Pantheon.
Trivia
- Agrippa was closely related to many members of the Julio-Claudian dynasty. He was a close friend and son-in-law of Roman Emperor Augustus, father-in-law to the second Emperor Tiberius, maternal grandfather to the Emperor Caligula and maternal great-grandfather to the Emperor Nero.
