*Though the victory column with this history exists, it seems that [[Ubisoft]] has split the story of it in two: the Greek traveler and geographer {{Wiki|Pausanias (geographer)|Pausanias}} tells the story of Phidias crafting a statue out of marble brought by Persians, but that it was the [[Statue of Nemesis]] he'd made, for the city of {{Wiki|Rhamnous}}, the most important site for the worship of the deity in ancient Greece.

The Marble Trophy is a victory column located near the Marathon Beach in Attika, Greece.

Erected following the battle of Marathon in 490 BCE, the trophy featured the winged statue of Nike holding a wreath, looking out over the Euripos Strait. During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra visited the monument.[1]
