Manuel Pinto da Fonseca (1681 - 23 January 1773) was a Portoguese nobleman, Prince and Grand Master of the Knights Hospitalier of Malta from 1741 to his death and secretly a Grand Master of the Templar Order.
In 1747 he tried to negotiate with Reginald Birch, Grand Master of the British Rite, in order to receive aid from his forces in his fight against the Ottoman Empire and the French Empire, both factions controlled by the Assassins.
