Mana Books are a French translation and publishing company of video game-related media. Their catalogue include works originally in English and Japanese for franchises such as Deus Ex, Final Fantasy, Silent Hill and Assassin's Creed.[1]
History
On 30 April 2020, Mana Books announced it had procured the rights to translate and publish Assassin's Creed: Blade of Shao Jun for the French market, with the first tome arriving on 11 June of the same year.[2] A month later, they announced a cover variant illustrated by comic book artist Mirka Andolfo.[3]
In September 2020, two other announcements were made, the release of Assassin's Creed: The Ming Storm on 1 October,[4] and the French release of The Art of Assassin's Creed: Valhalla on 12 November.[5]
Though no formal announcements were made by the publisher, a listing on French store FNAC could be found for Mana Book's translation of Assassin's Creed: Dynasty as early as 18 January 2021 with release date set for 11 March 2021.[6] An official announcement was later made via their Twitter account confirming this.[7] The date was later ammended to April 1st.[8]
