Macneal's Rope Yard was a set of buildings located in Boston used to make rope for ship rigging.
History
In March of 1770, one of the yard workers taunted a British soldier who was passing by and started a large brawl at the rope yard. These brawls between rope workers and British soldiers then boiled over into the Boston Massacre on March 5th.
Trivia
- One of the Boston Brawlers side missions, "The Ropebeater", takes place in the rope yard.
