The Lykosoura Ruins were the ruins of an ancient Arkadian city. Located on a hill, only a small tower had survived the ravages of time by the 5th century BCE. The ruins was also near a statue of Herakles said to be created by Daidalos.
During the Peloponnesian War, the ruins were visited by the Spartan misthios Kassandra.[1]
