Biography

Death

In 1503, Luigi and a few of his men assembled at the Pantheon to accept the money Egidio Troche had to pay off his debt. Luigi took the money chest that Egidio had and went inside the Pantheon to count it. Meanwhile, the Assassin Ezio Auditore da Firenze infiltrated the Pantheon from the roof. As Luigi finished counting the money, he gave the order to have Egidio killed. Ezio then assassinated Luigi and stripped him of his clothing, wearing them himself and impersonating Luigi.[1]
