The Kuomintang (KMT) was a nationalist party of China, with many members responsible for the fall of the Qing dynasty. The party was founded by the Templar Sun Yat-sen and his associate Song Jiaoren, and governed most of China from 1928 to 1949 until it's leader Chiang Kai-shek lost the Chinese Civil War against the communists.
