The Korinthian Helmet was a type of helmet used during the 5th century BCE that found its origin in Korinthia, Greece. During the Peloponnesian War, Spartans, who were allies of Korinth, utilized this helmet for many for their foot soldiers.
History
The Spartan misthios Kassandra found this helmet in the inventories of blacksmiths and looted it from bodies and chests during her travels throughout Greece.[1]
