The Knights of the Round Table are the knights in the fellowship of King Arthur Pendragon in British legends.
History
It is said that the ridges of the Stiperstanas are the calcified back of a fallen dragon killed by a Knight of the Round Table.[1]
At one point, Lancelot presented a sword to Gareth, a fellow member of the Round Table who used it to defeat the Black Knight.[2]
Legacy
By the late 9th century, Sir Gareth's Holy Sword came into the possession of the monks at Ferrières, a monastery along the Rhine, who bestowed it upon their protector. During her travels, the Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan acquired this great sword after defeating the champion.[3]
In 2020, Layla Hassan, an Assassin who relieved Eivor's memories, modified her Animus to include a set of armor, a shield, and a sword based on the knights as part of the shieldmaiden's armory and arsenal.[2]
