Kleptous Bay was a small port village situated on the coast of the Pronnoi Peninsula in Kephallonia, Greece. During the 5th century BCE, it was used by the Cyclops of Kephallonia as a base of operations.
In 431 BCE, the misthios Kassandra made her way to the village, bemoaning how the Cyclops had turned the place from nice to dreadful.[1]
She dispatched the Cyclops' thugs, claimed their valuables and freed their prisoners, including Barnabas[2] and Orneos[3].
