The khopesh is a heavy and lethal melee weapon used to hit targets that are further away from you than normal. The khopesh will appear in Assassin's Creed: Origins.

Early use
The recordings of the first sickle being used dates back to 2500 BCE. Bayek used it around 40 BCE.
