Kassandra

Kerameikos is an area of Athens, Greece located to the northwest of the Akropolis Sanctuary.

In classical antiquity, the area housed a number of pottery workshops which gave the quarter it's name. It was also known for the brothels that surrounded the quarter. During the Peloponnesian War, the quarter was visited by the Spartan misthios, Kassandra.[1]
