Kenrick was a 9th century Anglo-Saxon man from Hamtunscire, England.
In the 870s, Kenrick wanted to wed a hunter's daughter, Ethelind, but the hunter shot an arrow at a cliff's tree as a challenge to win her hand. Kenrick saw other suitors venture up the cliff, but they never returned. Fortunately, he met Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan and asked her to help him. Eivor agreed and ventured up the cliff. She encountered a lynx and killed it while discovering the other bodies. She then retrieved the arrow and gave it back to Kenrick, who thanked her and left to meet with Ethelind.[1]
