Katsuragi is a city in Nara Prefecture, Japan, formerly part of the Yamato province.
History
In 1582, the Kakushiba ikki members Fujibayashi Naoe and Yasuke visited Katsuragi and met with the locals, who discussed how the gokenin master had forsworn his duties and met with dishonorable constituents. At his manor, they found and assassinated the master, acquiring both a note from a fellow conspirator and a kanabō, the Boulder Fall, from his personal effects.[1] They also established a kakurega in the area.[2]
