The Kasuga Shrine (春日神社) was a Japanese shrine in Iga Province, nestled between the regions of Mibuno Vale and Otogi Pass. The Fujibayashi Clan Graveyard was located west of the shrine.

History

In November 1579, Fujibayashi Naoe, a new initiate of the Iga ikki, visited the shrine to retrieve a heirloom scroll belonging to Matsu's family, hoping that it will provide knowledge useful to her training. Along the way, she eliminated several outlaws who attacked and sought to loot the shrine.[1]

Two years later, Naoe revisited the shrine to make prayers.[2]
