Karnak is a complex of decayed temples and pylons in Egypt. It is located 2.5 kilometers north of Luxor.
In 1340, Egyptian Templars fled to Karnak after stealing the Scepter of Aset from the reigning Sultan, Al-Nasir Muhammad.[1] The next year, the Egyptian Assassin Numa Al'Khamsin and his apprentice Ali Al-Ghrabe met the Templars at the temple complex.[2]
While the Assassin engaged in battle with the Templars, Ali stole the Ankh from the Templars, under the impression that it was the Scepter. Numa and his apprentice then fled from Karnak, taking the artifact with them.[2]
