Kadar was an Assassin of Jerusalem during the Third Crusade, who had been tasked with spying on the Templar, Lord Basilisk.

Upon his arrival in the city, Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad sought Kadar's help in locating Basilisk. Kadar informed him of Basilisk's connections with the king, as well as of a party that would soon be held, which Basilisk was likely to attend. He then directed him to the City Gardens where he could learn the details of the party.
