Jupiter, previously known as Tinia, was a member of the First Civilization. He was mentioned by Minerva during her warning to Desmond Miles. Jupiter is part of the Capitoline Triad, a trio that included Juno and Minerva. They were the three supreme deities worshipped by the ancient Romans; with Jupiter as the head of all of the gods, who was referred to as the "Father of gods and men."
