Joseph Reed (died 1750s), also known as the Aristocrat, was a notorious pirate during the mid-18th century. Reed, along with his fellow pirate William Crest, made a fortune by raiding and attacking trade ships in the Atlantic Ocean. Reed captained a Man O' War called the Pilgrim which, alongside Crest's ship, the Cauldron, was eventually sunk by the Templar Shay Cormac's vessel, the Morrigan.[1]
