Joanot Martorell (1413 – 1468) was a Valencian knight and the author of the chivalry novel Tirant lo Blanch, describing the adventures of the titular hero throughout Europe and fighting against the Ottoman Turks.
During the 16th century, the Assassin Ezio Auditore da Firenze bought a copy of this book from the book shop in Cappadocia.[1]
