Jennifer Tam is an employee working for Abstergo Entertainment. The Abstergo Entertainment research analyst discovered emails sent between her and another employee, Philippe Chartrand, while hacking Abstergo Entertainment computers. Over several days, the two discussed the research analyst, Edward and Bernard Kenway, and the cute barista working in the building lobby.

Over the course of the email exchange, both Jennifer and Philippe became increasingly anxious about the spate of hackings throughout Abstergo Entertainment, and the company's aggressive response.

She was also responsible for the "Helix" Marketing Strategy memo that was sent to Melanie Lemay, Anthony Gbinigie, Pierre-Louis Belanger and Marc Scheling, providing details and instructions for the event.
