In Assassin's Creed 2 Ezio Auditore da Firenze can use, other than the carriable proper weapons and the heavy weapons like Spears and Halberds, some improper weapons which can be picked up just like the latter(they're discarded when you finish a fight, sprint, climb or use Parkour).These weapons, used mainly to batter enemies to death are:
- Brooms
- Hoes
- Rakes
- Fishing Poles
These "weapons" are extremely funny to use, but cannot be kept, apparently.The animations are sometimes, a bit twisted.For example, if you catch someone as a hostage while wielding a broom, you can slice his throat the way you can do it using a sword.These objects can be taken by pedestrians by running into them, causing them to leave what they're holding, and picking them up.
