Hitting the Hay is a memory in the Bonfire of the Vanities DLC pack for Assassin's Creed II.

Description

A farmer has stopped supplying hay and grains to the citizens of Florence. He has been filled with thoughts that the he is considered "simple and low class" and is not respected by those who oppose Savonarola. He belives that under Savonarola's rule everyone will be treated as equal.

Outcome

Ezio succeeds in assassinating the farmer. The Medici guards assume control of the district.
