Altar of Aphrodite

The Altar of Aphrodite was a small altar located in the northern end on the Greek island of Kythera.

During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios, Kassandra, confronted Diona and her older identical twin sister Eritha at the altar, after learning of the former's identity as a member of the Cult of Kosmos. In the midst of confusion, Kassandra was able to eliminate Diona.[1]
