The Hippia legs were a pair of greaves that were part of an armor set obtained by the misthios Kassandra during the Peloponnesian War.
Inspired by the Greek goddess of wisdom and warfare Athena, the greaves were made available to Kassandra through an Animus modification by Layla Hassan, an Assassin who relieved her memories.[1]

Trivia
- Ἵππια (hippia) is Greek for 'of the horses; equestrian', and one of the epithets of Athena in recognition of her as the inventor of the bit, bridle, chariot, and wagon.
