A confusing point. Hercules is the Roman name for Heracles, so it might be said Hercules is Roman, Heracles is Greek. But even in the Roman legends, the hero's myths are set largely in Greece as a Greek demigod since it's the same character..

The Hercules' Gladius was a gladius which was said to have belonged to the Greco-Roman hero Hercules. According to legend, Hercules used the gladius to sever the many heads of the Hydra.
