The Helmschmied Armory was a family-run blacksmithing and armourers group during the late 15th century.

Among their most notable creations was a rare line of heavy armor known as the Helmschmied Drachen Armor, in 1498. At least one of these sets of armor found its way into the possession of the Italian Assassin Ezio Auditore da Firenze during his time in Rome in the early 1500s.[1]
