Gudmund was a Norse shipwright who lived in Fornburg along with his wife Gudrun and daughter Eira during the 9th century. The two alongside several members of the Raven Clan later joined Sigurd Styrbjornsson and Eivor Varinsdottir on a journey to England to make a fresh start.[1]

After establishing and settling down in the settlement of Ravensthorpe in Ledecestrescire,[2] Gudmund and Gudrun were built a proper shipyard and hamlet by Eivor, allowing them to provide the shieldmaiden with customizations to her longship, Sea-Chariot.
