Grimsby is a village and the fishing port in Lincolnscire, England. In 875, Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir escorted a young lord Hunwald to the village to check on his Dane ladylove, Swanburrow.[1] The town also was a home for many Danes, including Aelfgar's hunting friend and fellow lord, Grim.[2]

Behind the Scenes

  • According to legend, the city was named after a Danish fisherman called Grim. It is unknown if Aelfgar's friend is the said fisherman or just another inhabitant of the land.
