The Griffin's Scythe was a legendary spear obtained by the misthios Kassandra during the Peloponnesian War.
During the 5th century BCE, the scythe ended up in the hands of a mercenary in Greece, known by their epithet "the Patricidal". Kassandra came across the mercenary and claimed the scythe for herself.[1]
