Gongylos Camp was a military outpost in the Dirfi Foothills on the island of Euboea, Greece. It was located in the western part of the region.
During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra explored the place.[1]
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- The name of the camp references Gongylos, a statesman from Eretria who supported the Achaemenid Empire during the Greco-Persian Wars.
