Godrich was an Anglo-Saxon man who lived during the 9th century.
Circa 870, Godrich and his associate, the flyter Jungulf were based in the town of Repton in Ledecestrescire, which was under occupation by the Sons of Ragnar. When the Viking Eivor Varinsdottir visited the town during her search for her brother Sigurd and the Ragnarssons, she found Jungulf and Godrich by the docks, the former taunting her people various insults. Eivor proceeded to challenge Jungulf to a flyting duel, which she won with her bet.[1]
