Giovanni Mocenigo was doge of Venice from 1478 to 1485. During his life, he had fought with Mohammed II and Ercole I d'Este, the duke of Ferrara.
Description
Doge Mocenigo was close with Carlo Grimaldi, in secret a Templar. At a Templar meeting, Carlo received the order to kill Mocenigo from Rodrigo Borgia, Grand Master of the Templars.
Ezio Auditore da Firenze overheard this meeting and broke into the Basilica of San Marco using Leonardo da Vinci's flying machine. However, Grimaldi had already poisoned Mocenigo, resulting in his death.
