Genghis Khan (c. 1162 - 1227) was a Mongol warlord, born by the name of Temujin. He was born a simple farmer but quickly grew in the military ranks. As a conqueror, he managed to gain most of Asia's lands, which he reigned from 1206 until his death in 1227.
In the Assassin's Creed Universe, Genghis Khan was a Templar. Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad had heard of him and suspected him to wield a Piece of Eden. He and his family moved to Mongolia, where he trained his sons to kill Genghis Khan as Altaïr himself was too old at the time. Eventually, Qulan Gal shot his horse, causing Genghis Khan to fall off and die.
