Geir (died 824) was a Norse assassin hired by the the Hidden Ones' Master Assassin Fuladh Al Haami. He was also the identical twin brother of fellow assassin Gud.
Biography
Tracking the Martyrs of Agaunum
Contracted with his brother, Geir was enlisted by the Hidden One Fuladh into a group of mercenaries to locate the Martyrs of Agaunum and acquire the case they protected. Both brothers accepted Fuladh offer and were told to meet him at a tavern in Fustat.[1] Upon arrival, they met their other cohorts while Fuladh addressed them and assigned them all the mission about the Martyrs.[2] When Fuladh left a table with a selection of weapons and rations, Geir and Gud jumped for first pick.[1]
After they all prepared, they began to track the Martyrs' route. After a couple of days, they listened to a plan from the young thief Roshan, who planned to ambush them at an incoming mountain passage. She explained that they would attack after Wei, a Chinese bombmaker, dropped his explosive. Geir and his twin waited alongside Roshan, the Samoan warrior Nafanua, the Welsh mercenary Mared, the Roman pirate Dias, and the self-proclaimed Christian prophet Francis. Meanwhile Wei, guarded by Persian mercenary Azadeh and her wolf Onyx, waited atop the cliff. Francis was in charge of waving the signal, yet he signaled too early.[1]
Losing teammates
With the bomb misused, Gud, Geir, Dias, and Mared fought the Martyrs until joined by Roshan and Nafanua, who were shocked from the bomb's blast. Despite their best tries, the Martyrs fled with their case while the mercenaries lost Mared, whom Dias had used as a body shield. Nafanua accused Dias of murder, which he defiantly refuted. However, after Azadeh calmed down tensions between them, they later agreed to go over the mountain and catch the Martyrs by going to Karachi via the Red Sea. After they prepared themselves and treated their injuries, they continued on their trek.[3]
Going over the mountain, Geir and Gud roped each other together with the others in their own groups. Although they climbed successfully, the descent proved to be dangerous when Roshan lost her footing, making her group fall. Luckily, both twins saved them. However, when Gud stepped on loose rocks, some stones dislodged and fell on Wei's head, knocking him out and making him loose his grip on the rope. Although Roshan went to save him, it was too late as Wei lost his grip and fell to his death. Despite Wei's loss, they completed the descent without any issue. While Geir joined the group to the dock nearby, Roshan and Azadeh left to find Wei's body. Later, they all boarded a stolen dhow and sailed to Karachi.[4]
Death
After reaching Karachi, the mercenaries found an inn to rest. While Roshan left to acquire maps, Gud and Geir left to track her. Although spotted, they managed to trap her in an alley and readied to kill her. [5] Roshan escaped by going along the roofs, though both brothers soon found her and chased her into a wealthy benefactor's harem. Instantly, the womens' screams drew the guards' attention and they Geir and Gud. When a guard prodded Gud, the Norseman responded by breaking his neck, initiating a fight that ultimately resulted in both Gud and Geir dead alongside multiple guards.[6]

Like Gud, he measured 6'8" (~2.0m) tall and according to Roshan was as burly as he was ugly.[1]
