Gauntlets of Ares

The Gauntlets of Ares were gauntlets worn in Greece that were a part of set of armor inspired and dedicated to Ares, the god of war in Greek mythology.

During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra acquired the gauntlets over the course of her travels.[1]
