The French Mentor was the Mentor of the French Brotherhood of Assassins during the late 17th century.
In 1690, the Mentor sent Maréchal, Louis-Joseph d'Albert de Luynes and 2 other Assassins to recruit Julie d'Aubigny, a skilled swordsman and singer known as 'La Maupin'. The Assassins were unsuccessful in their attempt, with d'Albert being stabbed in the right shoulder in the process.
