Francisco Pizzaro

Francisco Pizzaro Gonzalez, Marquess (Spanish: Francisco Pizarro González) (1471 or 1476 - 26 June 1541) was a Spanish Conquistador, and a Marquess, a European title of nobility, whose conquests reached South America and the Incan Empire of Peru, and founder of Lima, the modern-day capital of the Republic of Peru.[1]

On 25 June 1541, he was assassinated by the Assassins[2] within his Palace; now the Government Palace of Peru.[1]
