The Fort of Plataia was the site of the city of Plataia, a polis in Boeotia, Greece. The city gave the name to the whole regions, Ruins of Plataia.
After the city was destroyed during the Peloponnesian War in 427 BCE the remains were fortified. The Spartan misthios Kassandra visited the fort during the war.[1]
