Fort Charles was a Royal Navy military base in Port Royal during the 18th century.

Built circa 1660, it was the only fort in Port Royal to survive the earthquake of 1692, and would later play host to the trials of several infamous pirates, such as Anne Bonny, Charles Vane, Edward Kenway, Jack Rackham, and Mary Read.
