Fort Boubastos was a Ptolemaic fortification located in Haueris Nome, Egypt.
In 48 BCE, the Medjay Bayek of Siwa, travelled to the fort, where he, with the assistance of a group of rebels, assassinated the commander that had been extorting from the farmers in the Faiyum Oasis located west of the nome.[1]
