The Footpad is a multiplayer character in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. He uses a pair of Daggers.It is thought he may appear in the single player campaign.

Trivia

  • It is interesting to note that, in the trailer showing the Footpad, he is seen perhaps stealing something from the Barber's waist and then becoming the target of the chase, not unlike the Pickpockets from Assassin's Creed II. This is not a new game type. Proof: In the beta you can press the square button when nobody's around and your character will go for their weapon but stop and return to normal.
  • 'Footpad' is an old-fashioned word for Thief, but was replaced by the phrase 'Mugger' in the late 18th century.
  • His daggers resemble trench knifes designed for battles inside trenches during World War 1.
